Diagnostic Services

Our experienced practitioners offer access to a range of advanced diagnostic services to support accurate assessment and effective treatment planning for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

MRI Scans

We can refer patients for MRI scans at highly competitive prices, starting from approximately £200. MRI scans provide detailed images of the body, especially for spinal and soft tissue conditions, without harmful radiation.
Your practitioner will advise whether an MRI or another diagnostic test is most suitable. In some cases, MRI may not be appropriate for patients with metallic implants or pacemakers.

X-Rays

X-rays remain a useful and cost-effective diagnostic tool for examining bones, fractures, arthritis, and alignment issues. They are quick, widely accessible, and provide reliable results for many conditions.
Although they involve a small amount of radiation, they are considered safe when used appropriately under professional guidance for diagnosis.

Bone Density (DEXA) Scans

DEXA scans are used to assess bone health and diagnose conditions such as osteoporosis. These scans are quick, painless, and more accurate than standard X-rays for measuring bone density.
You may require a scan if you are over 50 with osteoporosis risk or under 50 with risk factors such as smoking or previous fractures.

Ultrasound Scans

Ultrasound scans are effective for diagnosing soft tissue conditions involving muscles, ligaments, tendons, and bursae. They are safe, non-invasive, and cost-effective for structural assessments.
Your practitioner will guide you on whether this is the most suitable investigation based on your condition and symptoms.

Blood Tests

We can arrange a wide range of blood tests through a trusted diagnostic laboratory in Central London. These tests are fast, reliable, and cost-effective for diagnosing various health conditions.
Tests include full blood count, ESR & CRP, liver and cholesterol profiles, and hormonal or endocrine assessments.
